Bird Grub®
Bird GrubŪ
Offer the nutrition your insect-eating birds need

  (13 customer reviews)

Bird GrubŪ consists of 100% roasted caterpillars. They contain the fat, protein and potassium necessary to maintain the energy level of insect-eating birds. The dehydrated caterpillars are more convenient than live mealworms, and don't move from the feeder. They're mess free and they keep for up to one year in a cool, dry place. #1 bird attracting food!

Bird Grub

The native birds just love these and those pesky house sparrows don't! I offer these all year long in a bluebird feeder. The best part is when adults bring the fledglings around.

Bird Crub
Reviewed By: Maryann Carson (Birmingham, Al)
Bird grub is incredible-not only has it attracted 2 families of blue birds-but an amazing sight to me - my cardinals will eat them too! You never hear about cardinals eating anything but seed. As to my blue birds they have remained year round for the last two years. When their young are born it is wonderful to be able to see them bring the young to the grub feeder. Worth the extra effort!! I recommend the grub highly.

A Great Response!
Reviewed By: Deb (Alexandria, MN)
I highly recommend providing Grub for the insect eating birds, especially during nesting season. I have Black-capped Chickadees that are nesting already. I was not sure how they would react to roasted caterpillars since I provide them with live mealworms, but the response has been great. I put some in tray of a window feeder, and When I cannot be around to give them the live mealworms, they come to the tray and get the grub instead. I have White-breasted Nuthatches also that gobble them up.
