A great way to offer calcium supplement, I use it for my exotic finches indoors.

I use this product in my homemade suet knowing that the nuthatches are attracted to eggshells after using another product that has helped attract woodpeckers. I can't say I have been as successful with attracting the nuthatches by using this but I still do use it every time I make my suet knowing it is healthy for the birds. Put in 1c. for a sgl. batch, 2c. double, 3c. triple or 4c. for a quadrupal batch. If the woodpecker mix is on sale that is also a good "extra ingred." to add to the suet.
