Gilwood Nest Box and Post
Gilwood Nest Box and Post
Attracts three to six times more bluebirds than standard bluebird nest boxes.

This unique, state-of-the-art box is designed by bluebird expert, Steve Gilbertson. Hinged, recessed front door keeps out rain and allows easy cleaning. Eggs and young stay secure, even when nest box is opened for monitoring. The relatively small interior (9"H x 3-1/2"W x 4"D) easily accommodates Bluebirds but discourages nesting by House Sparrows and Starlings. To adjust door or entrance height, simply bend hinge wire. Made of durable Western Red Cedar. Comes with 5' mounting post.

Success in 5 Days
Reviewed By: Carolyn (Rochester, New York)
Last year I put the Gilwood Nest Box up in less than ideal habitat, wooded and next to a creek. Within five days I had a nesting pair of Blue Birds. This year they are back. Four baby Blue Birds have fledged and there are four more eggs in the nest box.

Wonderful House
Reviewed By: Karen  (Germansville, PA)
This is a wonderful product, I just love it. I have a pair of bluebirds that have nested in one of my houses for several years. This year I had a major problem with sparrows chasing the bluebirds away and taking over many of my bird houses. I purchased this house in the spring and within a short time the bluebirds built their nest and the babies have since fledged. It looks like the bluebirds are beginning to build their second nest. I have other bluebird houses but this is by far the best, no other birds have attempted to take over this house.

Amazing house!
Reviewed By: Cindy Baum (Dallas, PA)
I purchased one house three years ago, and bluebirds moved in that first Spring. I now have two houses, and have had four nests in three years so far between the two. I have other houses, but they always prefer these and leave the others to the tree swallows. Four hatched in the original house this morning! I can sit on my living room couch and watch nesting bluebirds. Beat that!
