Platform cage

I've used covers like this for all of my platform feeders. I wouldn't fill the platform feeder without one! It keeps the grackles, especially, out of the feeder--they just perch on the side--and the smaller birds are not usually intimidated by the bigger birds. The cage is well worth the money!

My birds did not like the wire bottom. I inserted a piece of wood and that worked.
