Perfect for Woodpeckers – but Discourages Squirrels
Relax and enjoy watching the woodpeckers without worrying about seed-stealing squirrels! Sturdy cedar feeder has multiple small holes to mimic tree bark, where woodpeckers seek insect food in nature. These holes, however, are too small for squirrels to access the seed. If you hang your feeder from a limb, place it as far as possible from the trunk; better yet, site your feeder away from trees, if possible, to further deter squirrels. Sliding Plexiglas® panels display food and make cleaning easy. Feeder holds 2 cups of seed and measures 12"H x 4"W x 3"D.

The woodpeckers and huthatches (and blue jays) really enjoy this feeder. I hung it on a pole with a baffle to keep the squirrels away. Just wish it was a bit larger since it gets emptied in a day.
