Get Rid of Pesky Insects the Natural Way
Offer insect-loving bats a spacious home. This three-chambered bat house gives numerous bats room to roost and hibernate. And each bat means hundreds fewer bugs in your yard each night! Sturdily constructed house is made of durable Western red cedar with a solid roof made from 4 recycled milk jugs (it saves four jugs from going to a landfill). A pre-drilled hole makes it easy to mount on a tree or wooden post.

Measures 12"H x 8"W x 6"D.

Not on a tree

Don't attach your bat house to a tree, the odds are they'll never find it. Mount it at least 12' up on a pole (that isn't in the woods), or on your house. Everything you want to know about bats and bat houses can be found at the Bat Conservation International site http://www.batcon.org/home/default.asp

Room At the Inn
Reviewed By: Lois (Hanover Twp., Pennsylvania)
The House is gorgeous and the craftsmanship is beyond what I expected. I painted it black and did what was instructed, however; this is my 2nd year and still it is vacant. I even brought bats home from where I work and they did not inhabit the bat house. I freed the bats and thought they would take shelter in the house, but to no avail. I really need them - too many mosquitos. Guess I'll wait a few more years.

Bats will come!

Most bat houses or boxes take up to 3 years to actually attract bats to living in them. Hang in there, it's worth the wait!
