Squirrel Proof Feeder

Here’s a feeder that gives songbirds the advantage! A weight-sensitive perch closes when squirrels or heavy birds attempt to dine. A large seed reservoir holds up to 6 quarts of seed, peanuts sunflower seeds or cracked corn, and the attached seed baffle reduces waste and keeps the feeder clean.

It’s perfect for attracting chickadees siskins, woodpeckers, cardinals, nuthatches and many other songbirds. Filling is easy with the top-lock feature that holds the feeder open as you add seed. The durable, powder-coated feeder may be mounted on a 4” x 4” post or our Bird Feeder Pole with included adapter. Or it can be hung with the bracket hanger, also included.

Not too squirrel proof
Reviewed By: Rosemary Smith (West Simsbury, CT)
This birdfeeder is almost squirrel proof. I have mine hung on a long metal arm but the squirrels have learned how to hang off the top of the bird feeder frame and use their paws to gather food from the feeder. The feeder needs to be longer (up and down) so they can't reach.
